The duration of the pre-university course is spread over a period of two academic years.
The medium of instruction is English. However, students may, at their option, answer in either English or Kannada in the public examination.
English with an option for Kannada, Hindi, Sanskrit and French.
PCMB stands for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. This combination is chosen by students who are interested in pursuing careers in science and technology particularly in fields such as medicine, engineering and biotechnology. PCMC stands for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science. This combination is chosen by students who are interested in the fields of computer science and technology. PCMC students will study the principles of physics, chemistry, mathematics as well as programming languages and computer science concepts such as algorithms, data structures and software development.
BAMS stands for Business Studies, Accountancy, Basic Mathematics and Statistics. This combination is chosen by students who are interested in pursuing careers in business, finance and related fields. Within this curriculum, students delve into the concepts underlying each discipline, empowering them with a comprehensive understanding essential for their future pursuits.
BAME stands for Business Studies, Accountancy, Basic Mathematics and Economics. This combination is chosen by students who are interested in delving into the world of business, finance and economics. BAME students will gain a solid foundation essential for their future endeavours in the business and economic sectors.
